Creating a brand identity, particularly for a new business venture is always a really exciting process. The process is vital in achieving the most effective final outcome and it ensures the end creative communicates the perfect message for the client.

We particularly enjoyed this project in the studio as it allowed us to really explore impactful minimal patterns. We were tasked with creating a brand identity for a new restaurant set in Bradford on Avon, where the location was rich in history and prominent architecture. We wanted to explore the heritage and produce creative concepts that represented the dynamic feel of the important industrial building. The process researched the working history of the old mill that are the restaurant premises and we progressed concepts that reflected this.

We took inspiration from woven patterns and clean, minimal and architectural shapes. We wanted to create a brand identity that could communicate seamlessly across signage, interior accessories and printed marketing materials; being instantly recognisable to the target audience. The final creative for this project was really brought to life by the use of effective materials, such as copper, wood and cast iron.
