Amber Vista is an award-winning development that has breathed new life into the dilapidated Clearwater Parade, transforming it into a vibrant and sustainable community hub. Our involvement in this project was key to shaping a brand and visual identity that would outlast the development process itself, creating an enduring legacy in Lakeside.

The vision

With Amber Vista, the goal was clear: to revitalise the area while creating a brand that would resonate beyond the immediate development phase. Drawing inspiration from the high street, fashion, and lifestyle brands, we wanted the identity to feel sophisticated and modern, but also warm and welcoming—capturing the community spirit at the heart of the project.

The identity we crafted uses a contemporary take on classic, simple typography alongside a bold and glowing amber colour palette, reflecting both the name and the bright future the development promises. The warm, orange tones evoke a sense of energy and community, aligning with the development’s sustainable ethos and its blend of luxury apartments and retail spaces.

The outcome

Amber Vista now stands as a benchmark for innovative urban redevelopment, having won the ‘Commercial Development of the Year’ award and earning a commendation for ‘Best Transformation’ at the 2023 Cardiff Property Awards. The brand’s strong, vibrant identity has contributed to its recognition as a fresh and dynamic addition to the Lakeside area.

Beyond the visual identity, we supported the brand’s longevity by ensuring that Amber Vista would continue to stand out in the community once the project was complete. The retail spaces, already home to a range of independent businesses, are a testament to the brand’s appeal and the success of the development in fostering a lively local economy.
