With easy access to the big city as well as smaller shops, restaurants and independent businesses in Southville, Bankside wanted a brand that would sell the benefits of urban living while remaining inclusive and welcoming to the existing community surrounding it.

The vision

To reflect the vibrancy of its neighbourhood, our vision for Bankside featured confident use of colour – a knowing nod to the famous rainbow-hued houses on the outskirts of the city.

Bringing a contemporary urban edge to this colourful brand, we created a bespoke stencilled typeface, drawing parallels to Bristol’s proud heritage of street art and DIY culture.

The outcome

Bankside’s lively new brand was presented both physically and digitally, with distinctive signage and a custom-built website selling the benefits of its up-and-coming BS3 location. At the launch event, 95% of the residential units were sold – proof of the commercial impact effective branding can have.
