You can’t help but be inspired by this originally packaged toilet roll! Not only does this totally reinvent your view of what is otherwise a functional, everyday product; but it is heroic in raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Who Gives a Crap donates 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world. The impactful packaging design & colourful print reflects the business’s innovative roots, while the attention to detail in the humorous but informative packaging copy is genius – ‘Good for your bum. Great for the world.’

Non-profit organisations working to improve access to hygiene, water and basic sanitation in developing countries are the ones who benefit from the companies donations and with the product being manufactured using environmentally friendly materials – what’s not to love!

So what do we love about this?

“The packaging undeniably looks great; it’s bright, bold and totally different to the competition but there is so much more going on than simply nice packaging design. It’s a great example of how to do things properly, it all feels cohesive and well-thought out. I love all the little touches – the language they use, the on-pack messages, the one “Emergency Roll” you get in a pack. They manage to strike a perfect balance between thought provoking and playful which is no easy task. It never feels preachy. Hard hitting facts centred around their mission (50% of all profits go to help improve sanitation for the 2.3 billion people who don’t have access to it) sit alongside toilet jokes and it just works brilliantly!” – Hugh
